Have you been wondering on how to get people to respond to something? Let’s say you want to invite people to your wedding or maybe a small tea party at your home? You can always put up a poll on your blog for that but what if you only want it to be private and don’t need a lot of people to accompany you. All you have to do is use Invite Up and it’s very easy, simple as well as practical to use. Let show you how we can use Invite Up and you will know how easy to use it.

1. Go to Invite Up site.

The url for invite up site is inviteup.com. After you viewed the website, you will have a screen that looks like this.

Please note there’s two section on the web page. I categorized and labeled it as number 1 and number 2

  • Number 1 link will be sent out to all of your friend’s email with the subject and what you want the receivers to respond to.
  • Number 2 link is where you viewed their responses.

That’s all actually. Let me show you the rest on what I have been testing.

2. Send an email with the link for the responses.

OK, I’m not going to send an actual e-mail to my blog readers but let me just show you what I’ve made for my testing.

Subject : Invitation to dinner

Hi guys,

I was thinking on arranging a dinner at Restoran Nelayan at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa on the Christmas Eve. The dinner is all on me and you don’t need to worry about a thing, just bring yourself there. Just give your response with your name and say if you’re going or not at http://InviteUp.com/i/xampuenjld. See you there !

Or the other note, you can just paste the URL on your blog or anywhere that you think possible.

3. Readers will respond at the Invite Up unique URL

Above is an example. So Callister will fill up her name and her response was YES and she just click SEND button and it will be saved. A confirmation screen will show that you response has been saved, something like the screen shot below.

4. Check who’s coming or not.

After a while, I just simply use the second URL which is http://inviteup.com/a/201GHnzNcqaDxIYK to view the responses that I have. Hmmmm, seems like only Callister is coming…oh well..I guess it will be a private dinner between the both of us. :razz:
